Mike started out as an HR Director in games working for Oddworld Inhabitants and Perpetual Entertainment. In 2007 he started helping some of his HR colleagues fill difficult positions and started GAME ON! shortly thereafter. Over the last 16 years we’ve helped thousands of candidates and hundreds of clients. He lives on the Central Coast of California with his wife, four children and various pets including Chuey (our mini-goat, team mascot). When not in the office he enjoys fishing and classic auto restoration.

Located in Raleigh, NC, Marisa’s former life includes Recruiting Ops Manager at Epic Games, followed by an epic adventure as an entrepreneur. Returning to her passion for helping engineers, leaders, and artists find their new home, she excels in helping your experience shine. When she’s not matchmaking Game Studios and devs, you’ll find her standing in front of a wall of paint swatches, looking for her next home improvement project, and crushing her husband in Mario Kart.

Located in St. Louis, MO, a city known for its iconic Gateway Arch, Brent has been recruiting in the games industry for eight years, having worked at Tripwire and on the agency side. Brent enjoys working with the talented individuals that make up the industry, and he’s amazed by what they can create. It’s hard to ruffle his feathers, and he keeps a cool head even when he’s got an opportunity to meet the real-life Aquaman. If he’s not hanging with his wife and two kids on weekends, you can find him thinking about golf or playing golf.

A recent transplant from Los Angeles to the California desert, Deirdre has been recruiting for over 17 years, 12 of which focused in games. Though her specialty is technical recruiting, she loves helping job seekers of all disciplines find their dream job. When she's not looking under every rock to find the perfect match, she enjoys collecting actual rocks and gemstones, traveling, and sitting in the sun contemplating the great mysteries of the universe.

Paul is a seasoned technical and creative recruiting professional from Laguna Hills, CA., with previous experience at Meta Reality Labs, Blizzard, Nexon, and Daybreak Games. He is a seeker of skills, a wrangler of roles, a builder of teams, and an avid eater of burritos. As an advocate for DE&I, Paul has helped build diverse, award-winning game teams and has been matching top talented individuals to their dream jobs. At home, Paul is a busy father of three, a lover of all things ocean, and continues to push the boundaries of how much spaghetti a human body can consume in a single sitting.

Located in Charlotte, NC, Rachel has journeyed through many roles, most recently as an Event Manager with Epic Games, showcasing Paragon and Fortnite. In another life, she dabbled in project coordination and even booked bucket list trips as a travel agent! Now that she’s found her dream job, she enjoys recruiting for AAA and indie studios because she’s passionate about helping people land a dream job of their own. In her free time, you can find her collecting passport stamps! She has visited nearly 30 countries and only has to visit four more states to complete the entire US map.

After eight years as a recruiter with Disney, working on the launch of Disney+, Disney Park apps, and mobile games, Jenn joined GAME ON! She earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, probably why she loves working in engineering and tech roles. She’s super proud of the fact that she ranked Grandmaster support in League of Legends, has a level 100 sorceress, level 100 rogue in Diablo 4, owns 4 lightsabers (Ahsoka, Dark Saber, Darth Maul, and Darth Vader), and every single Harry Potter wand.

Based in Raleigh, NC, Heather is a Jill of all Trades, having lived many lives as a former HR Manager with Epic Games, visual artist, leadership coach, and now recruiting coordinator extraordinaire. She’s passionate about helping people find their way, which starts with ensuring your resume looks A++ before being sent to a client. On weekends, you’ll find her adding V-Bucks to her son’s Fortnite account while painting in her studio.

Chuey is a 5 year-old miniature goat and our beloved mascot. His strengths include eating jeans, sleeping and friendly headbutts. He’s a terrible recruiter but we still love him.
